What is your passion – hot rods or great health? If you’re into one, the other or both, the City of Henderson has two great events planned for this fall.
The historic Water Street District will welcome back the 15th Annual Super Run Classic Car Show September 25 – 28. Spectator admission is free to view more than 1,000 hot rod beauties. Even if you’re not a gear head, the day is more than about the cars. Concerts, automotive competitions, vendors and a retro fashion show are part of the three-day event. If learning about the latest in wellness and your community is more your speed, then mark your calendar for the Oct. 18 Community Expo. A mix of the Community Health and Safety Expo, National Night Out and City Hall at the Mall, the Community Expo is an opportunity for new residents to learn about their city resources and for current residents to reacquaint themselves with the many advantages of living in Henderson.
